Born in 2014 Cuddles was named for her personality. She loves a good scratch, and even better if it is accompanied by a bit of grain. She can often be seen locating bits of corn in her friends wool. If I had to use one word to describe her it would be happy, she is just like that person that everyone likes because they are a happy person (or sheep).

The sponsorship lasts for one year from the start date. During this time you will receive updates on what is happening here on the farm. Your sponsorship fee includes your sheep's story, 6 notecards with your sheep's picture, and several newsletters throughout the year.
Your sponsorship helps to maintain our retired ladies so they can live out their remaining years happily roaming the pastures with their sheep family.
For those who would like a lasting reminder of your sheep, we have created the ornament option.

If you select this option I will make a needle felted hanging sheep ornament in the likeness of your sponsored sheep along with the items in the Sponsor a Sheep option.

The ornament is felted over a wire armature, made from wool grown on our farm. The overall dimension is approxamately 4" long, 1.25" wide x 3.25" tall. It hangs with a bit of handspun yarn and wears a beaded collar with a small brass bell.
This option includes all of the items in the Sponsor a Sheep option plus a 4 ounce handspun skein of yarn ready for your creations (or put it in a bowl for a centerpiece--that's a creation too). The skein will be the same color and type of wool as your sponsored sheep. The yarn will be handspun from your sheep's wool, when possible, or a family member from our flock. All the wool comes from our sheep family here on our farm and is handspun in a DK weight, 2-ply yarn.
